Lexus claims to be in the “pursuit of perfection.” Like all taglines, this can be a bit abstract, but when looking at how the Lexus LS has evolved over the years, it can easily be seen how that drive toward perfection has fueled changes to this particular model. Changes that have led to the brand’s success, Lexus Maryland says.

The Lexus LS has served as the luxury brand’s flagship model. Introduced in 1989, the Lexus LS was Toyota’s answer to established full-size luxury sedans such as the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Competing with those heavyweights was no small undertaking either, Car Dealer Connecticut says.

Over the years, the Lexus LS has been recognized as one of the most reliable vehicles ever built, earning numerous accolades and high rankings for dependability. In addition to embodying the highest levels of quality, the LS has also featured cutting-edge technologies with each successive iteration, such as the first production eight-speed automatic transmission and an automatic parking system, both of which are featured on the latest LS sedan. The innovations and quality have made Lexus a benchmark for other brands, Nashville Chevrolet Dealers say.

Now in its fourth generation, the Lexus LS 460 is more powerful, innovative, and luxurious than ever before. Buyers can opt for a long wheel base model with more rear leg room, or the added traction of all-wheel drive, and even an all-digital instrument panel with night vision capability. Despite its size, the LS 460 can rocket from 0-60 mph in just 5.4 seconds thanks to its 380 horsepower 4.6-liter V8.

If this car isn’t at least near perfection, I don’t know what is.
