What do you get when you carefully blend a high-performance luxury sport sedan like the Lexus IS F with a premium fun-in-the-sun roadster like the Lexus IS C? As a very limited number of customers will find out, the answer is the new Lexus IS 350C F Sport Special Edition.

“The F Sport Special Edition builds on the IS 350C and takes the fun of the convertible up another notch,” said Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager. “The racing-inspired F Sport accessories on this car were precision engineered specifically for this vehicle, allowing us to provide performance without compromise.”

Among those accessories from the Lexus performance division:

  • 19-inch forged alloy wheels with a dark graphite finish, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires—225/35ZR19 in the front and 255/35ZR19 in the rear
  • Sport-tuned shocks developed in cooperation with Bilstein
  • Lowering springs that reduce the ride height approximately one inch in the front and rear, resulting in a more aggressive appearance and lower center of gravity
  • A sway bar set that helps reduce body roll and provide flatter cornering
  • Bi-xenon high-intensity discharge headlamps with LED daytime running lights
  • Custom exterior badging and a Special Build 2011 interior badge on the center console

In addition, the IS 350C F Sport shows off the kind of premium content one expects in any Lexus. Thus, the interior is highlighted by leather-trimmed black-and-red seats with red stitching, heated and ventilated front seats, wood design accents and Lexus’ feature-rich navigation system, which offers a seven-inch touch-screen, rear backup camera, Voice Command voice-recognition functionality, XM Satellite Radio and Lexus Enform with Safety Connect. This latter system allows drivers to research and set nav destinations via their home computer or smartphone app, gain access to 24/7 navigation assistance from live advisors, and enjoy enhanced safety and security services.

This new limited-edition Lexus is on sale now—but with just 175 units available, it won’t be for long.
